A Senior Relocation Specialist is a trained professional who assists seniors over the age of 55 and their families deal with the stress and anxiety of moving. Although services will vary, we provide the following services:

  • We will help you find a new residence.
  • Develop a move plan.
  • Coordinate utilities and moving trucks.
  • Organize, sort and downsize.
  • Design a floor plan for your new residence.
  • Pack and sort.
  • Coordinate your moving day.
  • Provide new residence set up.
  • Arrange for the disposal of unwanted items through estate sales, auctions, consignment, donations or combination of these.
  • Clean your house.
  • Stage your house for sale.
  • Arrange other services such as waste removal, shopping, senior escort, lawn maintance or snow removal; as well as assist with the selection of a realtor and to prepare the house for sale.

How much will these services cost?

We will be happy to give you a 1 hour free consultation. You will then be given a detailed proposal. Should you decide to retain our services you will be provided with a service contract, which will be a non-binding quote, and a deposit will be required. We will strive to stay within that quote, however, we will do everything we can to minimize your costs. Should we need to go over the original quote you will be advised prior to doing so. The balance owing on the contract will be payable at the end of the job. We will accept payment by cash or cheque at the time we issue the invoice.

What if one of us needs to cancel?

Cancellation of an appointment or day’s work may happen due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, and we will notify you as early as possible. We ask that you please give us the same consideration should you need to cancel.
